Wet - Game Review
Wet is a 3rd person shoot-em-up, very similar to Max Payne. What catches eye is the inspiration of Tarantino's Kill-Bill movie.
The title "Wet" refers to Wetworks, slang name for assassinations, and the main character, Rubi, has definitely been designed for male audience.
There is a training level which introduces you to all things Rubi can do.
Rubi is apparently a great fan of shooting and stabbing, the interesting thing are the slow motion pieces during jumping, wall rides, etc, when you can take your time
to kill one more bad guy.
At the beginning of the game you only have two automatic guns and a sword, which is, frankly, quite disappointing, as you are only able to use it in close combat.
Handguns, on the other hand, are much more fun, with nice targetting system, where one of your guns automatically targets the closest enemy, while you're free
to choose the target for the second one.
Obviously, there are moch more guns to come as you get rid of more enemies. What counts in this game is class, so you will get more points for dispatching a bad guy stylishly -
for instance several kills in one move is slick.
