Electronic Arts made an announcement that its Battlefield Heroes game now has reached the 2 million registrants threshold. The company is looking for a name for its new map for the game. The new map will be set in a village with numerous intersecting canals, and it is designed with focus on infantry.

Players will be able to use channels and alleys to flank the enemy position. Anyway, Electronic Arts is now accepting suggestion for the map name, which can be filed at http://www.battlefieldheroes.com - the development team will then choose the name.

The game quickly attracted users - it is reported it reached 1 million participants in July, and now, just two months later, this number doubled. Players can use Battlefunds, fictional game currency to customize their character.
