Electronic Arts made an announcement that its Battlefield Heroes game now has reached the 2 million registrants threshold. The company is looking for a name for its new map for the game. The new map will be set in a village with numerous intersecting canals, and it is designed with focus on infantry.

Global Game Jam, a world-wide game development marathon, will take place somewhere in the beginning of 2010. The participants in randomly assigned teams across the world will have 48 hours to create and execute a game. The main prize is a free trip to the Game Developers Conference this March in San Francisco.

Wet is a 3rd person shoot-em-up, very similar to Max Payne. What catches eye is the inspiration of Tarantino's Kill-Bill movie. The title "Wet" refers to Wetworks, slang name for assassinations, and the main character, Rubi, has definitely been designed for male audience. There is a training level which introduces you to all things Rubi can do.
